Yesterday's energy

Here on these pages we have my creative energy spent from ages ~23  to ~43. I spent my energy hand painting and custom designing and hand building motorcycles. Starting the archive with the last bike from 2006 – 2010 and going back in time to the second one. The very first bike I have no photos of. The photographic archive seen here ends with the second bike. In this archive are just one or two or so from each year to keep the archive short. Included in this archive are various magazines I have been in, either on the cover or featured as the main centerfold, interviewed or just a simple article, again with just various magazines listed here. Not all magazines I have been in are here and there are dozens more bikes I’ve designed, built and painted not shown here, this is just a small showing.

A lot of people can’t understand that a single person can have talent in any field of interest and perform at professional levels in every area. I possess such talent. It is hard for some to believe that I have the ability to think of, from nothing, design on paper, take the drawings that I drew and make that idea come to life, real life, using my own hands, but I do just that.

The above pictured bike was thought of, designed, built, painted and assembled by me and me alone. The parts and pieces hand built by me. Over 2000 Eddie hours invested of my life but hey, that is what we artists do, toil for the benefit of mankind (smiley face inserted here). From the drawing table to the English wheel to the welding table to the milling machine to the paint booth. Here is a gallery of the photos of the build process of this motorcycle. Built entirely as a rolling piece of art, not intended to be ridden but built just as an excuse to build a piece of art that has two wheels. It is however a real running machine.

The Robb Report did an article on me and my rolling art piece.

Patchwork

Here is a bike I did for Mr. Mariani in an alternating patchwork of copper and aluminum panels riveted with the alternating metal.

Going back in time

We now will revisit my efforts in the world of rolling art with a random collage.

In 1993 going into 1994 I painted this motorcycle. It ended up on the cover of a magazine. This was the second motorcycle I painted.
